NOTICE:
Potomac Storm VBC has received multiple complaints of unsolicited recruiting attempts, surreptitiously initiated inside the Potomac Storm Gym, during the Potomac Storm Fall Volleyball League.
The unprofessional actions appear to have been orchestrated by persons affiliated with an area volleyball club, which lacks a facility, advanced training equipment, & the ability to host leagues, camps, clinics, & open gyms year-round.
Potomac Storm VBC apologizes to those of you who were approached by the parties involved.
Sadly, there are coaches who can train advanced players and those who can't. Those who can compete at a higher level, with teams ranked #1 in their division, finishing in the top 6% of the nation, finishing in the top 9 and top 20 at nationals, finishing with winning records approaching 90%, by finishing in the GOLD championship match in almost 75% of tournaments, and by winning a combined club total of 372 medals in a season, all of which our 2024-25 season coaches did in 2023-24.
Coaches who can't offer advanced skills training often resort to promising rides and other 'gifts' in an effort to recruit the type of advanced players that they want but can't train themselves.
In conclusion, the persons identified as attempting to recruit in OUR GYM, will never again be admitted into the Potomac Storm Gym or other area facilities leased by Potomac Storm.
THE FOLLOWING ARE PROHIBITED:
(1) ATTEMPTING TO RECRUIT TRAVEL PLAYERS WHILE IN/ON THE POTOMAC STORM GYM & PARKING LOT. THIS INCLUDES HAVING CHILDREN ASK FOR A PLAYER'S CONTACT INFORMATION AND/OR SUGGESTING THAT A PLAYER TRY OUT FOR A RIVAL CLUB.
(2) INTERFEREING WITH THE TRAINING.
(3) SMOKING AND/OR VAPING IN THE GYM OR WITHIN 20 FEET OF GYM ENTRANCES.
(4) DRINKING ALCOHOL WITHIN THE POTOMAC STORM GYM AND IN THE PARKING AREA.
(5) ENTERING THE GYM WITH FOOD/DRINKS WITHOUT PERMISSION OF THE GYM STAFF.
(6) PARKING IN SPOTS DESIGNATED AS FOR STAFF (CLOSEST TO THE BUILDING) OR IN FRONT OF TENANT ENTRANCES/ROLL UP DOORS
POTOMAC STORM VBC LLC AND FW PROPERTIES LLC RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REMOVE AND/OR BAR ANY PERSON(S) FROM THE POTOMAC STORM GYM AND PARKING AREA.

HOW TO REGISTER

INCLUDE IN YOUR EMAIL
* Player's name
* Player's date of birth
* Parent's phone # & address
* If the player was a 2023-24 Potomac Storm Travel Volleyball Player
* If the player was a 2024 Potomac Storm Summer League participant,
* If you want to pay through ZELLE, by check, or cash
(2) Potomac Storm will email the amount due, & other instructions if a spot is confirmed available
(3) Print, sign, and bring the Release of Liability to the 1st practice attended

(4) Upon receipt of an emailed confirmation, you MUST MAKE PAYMENT to secure the position.

PRACTICES
Mondays & Thursdays from 6:30 - 8:30 PM
and
Saturdays from 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM
**9/14 Practice will be from 9 - 11 AM to allow for USAV "Try Volleyball" Clinics**
*If you cannot attend on 9/2, you can begin on 9/5/2024
GAMES
Game Play will be on 10/5 and 10/12, from 10:30 AM until finished
The 2024 FALL LEAGUE Training will focus on the following skills:
* Rotations/Positions
* In system passing, setting, and hitting
* Teamwork
* Over-hand serving (top spin and float) and spot serving
* Increased volleyball IQ
* Fine-tuning individual skills
So that your player is ready for the NEXT LEVEL in their volleyball journey!

Should events beyond the reasonable control of Potomac Storm VBC LLC and any Parent(s) and/or Player(s)s, including but not limited to (1) acts of God, (2) war, including armed conflict, (3) strikes or labor disputes at the Potomac Storm Gym, (4) government regulation or advisory (including travel advisory warnings), (6) civil disturbance in the Spring Mills community, (7) terrorism or threats of terrorism in the United States as substantiated by governmental warnings or advisory notices, (8) curtailment of transportation services or facilities which would materially affect attendees from attending the Fall League, (9) disaster, fire, earthquakes, hurricanes in the Spring Mills area, (10) unseasonable extreme inclement weather in the Spring Mills area, (11) shortages or disruption of the electrical power supply causing blackouts or other essential utilities in the Spring Mills area, or (12) any other cause reasonably beyond the parties' control (collectively referred to as "occurrences"), which individually or collectively make the 2023 Fall Volleyball League commercially impracticable, impracticable to perform, illegal, or impossible to perform, then the party's may terminate this Agreement, without liability, upon written notification. Issues arising which do not force the cancellation of the 2023 Fall Volleyball League, prior to any practices involving any participants, shall NOT subject Potomac Storm VBC to issue any refund of 2023 Fall Volleyball League related fees, to any Parent(s) and/or Player(s) who paid such fees to Potomac Storm VBC, regardless of whether the said Parent(s) and/or Player(s) participate in the 2023 Fall Volleyball League. As the mission of the volleyball club is to provide volleyball opportunities and training to as many youth athletes as possible, Potomac Storm VBC LLC reserves the right to allow additional junior volleyball players to participate in the 2024 Jr Volleyball Fall League, beyond the number expected and suggested herein, with sufficient coaches.
Leagues are offered at the following skill levels
* REC - Players with low to moderate skill level, the most recreational league we offer. Skill improvement is a benefit & everyone has a great time!
> ADVANCED - Mix of players with moderate to average skill proficiency & game knowledge. Focus on skill improvement & working on the team concept.
> PREMIER - Mix of players with above-average to good skill proficiency & good game knowledge. Focus on evenly-matched, similar-skilled grouping of teams.
> ELITE - All players have solid, consistent, higher skill proficiency & game knowledge. Focus on quality-match competition.
